LUCIE LIVE! Lucie's New Album Is Released - Grab Your Copy Today!
"I am so excited to have just released my first LIVE solo album, Lucie, LIVE! at Feinstein's at The Nikko. It was recorded at The Nikko Hotel in SanFrancisco September 16th and 17th, 2016. I think you will find it a very 'unplugged' LucieA - a piano only accompaniment featuring just me and my long time partner in crime, my musical director, the amazing arranger/composer, Ron Abel at the piano.
Playing a Michael Feinstein branded club is always a treat as he makes sure they have the most up to date and professional sound system and technical staff anywhere. So getting a recording of this intimate show was truly a gift and I am so grateful Michael has allowed me to release it.
As with many of our shows, the songs are a journey through the arc of love and romance, so the release of this CD just before Valentine's Day is also a gift from the universe.
I am most proud of the fact that, this time, I was able to release an album completely 'in house' with the help of my uber talented musical engineer son, Joe Luckinbill, who edited and mixed the whole deal with me on my computer over Christmas break and the miracle of finding a company, like CDbaby, where I could manufacture and distribute it right online! What an exciting digital world we live in! It was a phenomenal learning experience and I enjoyed every minute of bringing this memorable show (complete with intros and stories) to all of you.
